WORKS - SCULPTURES WITH GLASS MELTING
Paolo Piscia approached glass melting at the end of the eighties
dedicating a lot of time to experimentation. He used Venetian glass
and other types of glass and started to realise suggestive decorative
glasses on commission.
In a short time, the glass windows and doors became real works of
art.
The mosaics melt in the furnace combining colours, figures, shapes
and creating unique transparencies.
Paolo Piscia, apart from the artistic glass windows and doors commissioned
by architects, interior designers and private individuals, realises
sculptures and art objects. His works can be admired in art galleries,
important hotels or private houses or villas completing their decoration
with original and unique solutions.
Glass melting is a working technique that allows obtaining chromatic
effects superimposing sheets of glass of different colours.
Moulds are used to obtain plates or bowls in different shapes, decorated
with metallic oxides.
